Dodgers Force Game Six Monday Night 7pm at
Kinsmen Stadium

Oshawa Dodgers 6, Barrie Baycats 5

In Barrie, Greg Speed had three hits, including a triple, and scored the
winning run in the ninth inning to lift the Oshawa Dodgers to a 6-5 win
over the Baycats in the Intercounty Baseball League playoffs on Sunday.
Barrie leads the series 3-2 with Game 6 on Monday in Oshawa.  

Nick DeSanctis had two hits and drove in two runs and Ryan Crotin
added a pair of hits, including a double. Ken Calway brought in the
winning run with a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning.

Brian Sewell (1-0) allowed one hit in 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief for
the win and Greg Byron recorded the final two outs for the save. Oshawa
starter Matt Tosoni gave up five runs in seven innings.

Derek McDaid (0-1) took the loss after giving up two runs in one inning of
relief. Starter Brad Grieveson allowed four runs and eight hits in 7 1/3
innings.

Tickets for tonight's game can be purchased at Kinsmen Stadium one
hour prior to game time.  Tickets are $7.00 each and children under 12
are admitted free.  This is the first time in the 5 year history of the team
that the Dodgers have advanced to Game 6 in the first round playoff
series.
