Dodgers Announce New Field Manager

It is with great pleasure that the Oshawa Dodgers
announce the signing of Mike Prosper in the
position of Field Manager.  Dodgers President Troy
May had this to say: Mike is the person I feel can
take the Dodgers to the next step in our
development as a franchise.  Mike comes to the
Dodgers after coaching for 10 years in the Oshawa
Legion Minor Baseball Association. Prior to that
Mike played 10 years in the Labatt's Metro Senior
League where he starred as a Left-Handed power-
hitting outfielder.  Mike played his Minor Baseball
in the East York Bulldogs organization before signing and playing one year in
the New York Mets system.  I interviewed a select few people for this
position and right from the beginning it was obvious to me that Mike was the
perfect fit for the Oshawa Dodgers. Mike's knowledge of the game and his no
nonsense approach is what the Oshawa Dodgers were looking for.
Former Dodgers Field Manager Troy May will stay on Mike's coaching staff
and will patrol third base.  Mike's family: Wife Bonnie, Son's Jordan and Brett.

This is going to be a season to remember in Oshawa.
