Outfielder Tyler Curran comes to the Dodgers from Cerro
Coso College. Tyler resides in California and has decided
to spend the summer in Canada playing for the Dodgers.
1. What was the first sport that you played?
Baseball
2. At what age did you start playing baseball and at what level?
4-5, T-ball
3. What number do you wear and is there any significance to it?

4. Day games or Night games and why?
Night - I like playing under the candles.
5. What is your favourite meal to prepare?
Quesadillas
6. What is your favourite restaurant to eat at?
Any Mexican Restaurant
7. How does the Intercounty League compare with college
baseball?
Very Similar
8. If you could have dinner with three people, living or deceased,
who would they be?
Chipper and Andruw Jones, Jim Morrison
9. What is your dream job outside of playing baseball?
Children's Psychology
10. What is the best present you had ever received?
My car
11. Do you have any phobias?
Drowning
12. What is your favourite television show?
Seinfeld
13. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items
would you have with you?
A woman, my music, and a couple of beverages
14. If you could trade places with one person, who would it be and
why?
Andruw Jones because I would be playing center field for the Braves
15. Who was the biggest influence on your life growing up?
My Uncle
16. Why should fans come out and watch the Dodgers?
Hopefully to watch us get some wins at home and it is also a lot better to
play in front of your home fans
17. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Somewhere, hopefully with a lot of money
18. Who have been the most influential people in your baseball
career?
Club baseball coaches, my Dad
19. What should younger players in the game do to keep
improving to get to the next level?
Try to get in as many game situations as possible and to at least take dry
hacks every day.
20. What are your baseball/career goals?
Keep playing as long as possible
21. Detail three career highlights.
Playing for the Southern California high school state championship;
receiving all-conference 1st team freshman year in college; participating in
the Southern California Junior college all-star game.
22. How do you spend your time when you are not playing
baseball?
Working
23. What other sports did you play growing up or still play?
Football
24. What made you decide to spend the summer in Ontario, playing
for the Oshawa Dodgers?
I wanted to get a lot of at bats and finally see Canada
25. How is playing baseball in Ontario for the Dodgers different
than from teams you have played for in California?
The use of wooded bats

People who don't hustle
