C/1B Peter Bako. Bako was utilized as a call-up
in three games for the Dodgers in 2008 and was
4-for-8 with 3 RBI. Bako is attending Connors
State College in Oklahoma where he is batting
.398 with 33 hits in 83 at-bats with 16 RBI in 24
games.
The Oshawa Dodgers have signed Markham
infielder James Kottaras to a contract for the
2009 season. Kottaras is currently attending
Connors State where he is batting .404 with 44
hits including 8 doubles and 26 RBI. Kottaras' is
a graduate of the Ontario Blue Jays system. His
brother George is a catcher for the Boston Red
Sox.
