The Oshawa Dodgers are excited to announce
the signing of C Mike Reeves. Reeves, a
Peterborough native, played with the Ontario
Blue Jays in 2008 and was a frequent call-up for
the Dodgers. Many will remember his game 4
heroics in the 2008 playoffs versus Barrie.
Down 2-0 with two on in the fifth inning Reeves
hit a towering shot over the right field wall to
give the Dodgers a 3-2 lead that they would not
look back from and go on to win the game 5-2.
In 23 games with the Dodgers Reeves hit .237
with 9 runs on 14 hits and 10 RBI. Reeves has
signed a letter of intent for the 2009/10 season
with Florida Gulf Coast University.
