Oshawa Dodgers 13, Waterloo Tigers 10

The Oshawa Dodgers improved their record to 3-1 with a 13-10 win
over the visiting Waterloo Tigers.
Jamaal Joseph struggled in the first inning walking 4 batters and
giving up 2 runs. The Dodgers came right back in the bottom of the
first and put up 6 runs.
Jamaal settled down and pitched 4 innings giving up only the 2 runs
in the first inning.
Chad Stone came on in the 5th and pitched 4 solid innings as
Oshawa built a 12-2 lead.
Waterloo scored 5 runs in the top of the 9th off Dodgers pitcher
Ben Chisholm.
Manager Troy May had this to say: "We gave up those 2 early runs
then our bats came alive, you get 18 hits in a game and you should
win"
When Coach Gary Minacs was asked if he was worried about giving
up 5 late runs, Gary had this to say: "You never like to let a team
back in a game, but that is sometimes the hardest thing to do for a
pitcher, to come in with an 8 run lead, Ben didn't focus like he
normally does, I am sure it won't happen again"
