In Oshawa, Pat Tobin drove in the winning run in the eighth
inning to help the Dodgers to a 6-5 win over the Guelph Royals in
the Intercounty baseball League on Wednesday.
Ken Calway had a pair of hits, including a two-run double in the
sixth inning, and Phil Stone added an RBI single in the win.
Chad Stone (4-0) gave up three unearned runs and two hits in 1
2/3 innings of relief and Steve Butterworth pitched a scoreless
ninth inning for his first save.
Nathan Tami (1-1) allowed one run and one hit in one inning of
relief for starter Ryan Armstrong, who gave up five runs - one
unearned - in five innings.
