The Oshawa Dodgers set another Intercounty record today for
most wins in a season for a second year team with 20 wins.
The Dodgers split a double Header today in Hamilton. Winning
the first game 1-0 and losing the second game 7-0.

The Dodgers finished the year winning 5 of their last 6 games.
The Dodgers finish the regular season with a 20 and 16 record and
a .556 winning percentage.
The Dodgers can still finish 5th, 6th or 7th.
The Intercounty regular season officially ends (barring rain) on
Wednesday July 30 and playoff positions and match ups will be set
on Thursday July 31, with the playoffs starting on August 2nd or
3rd.

First Place Toronto gets a first round bye and the first round
match ups are:
2nd vs. 7th
3rd vs. 6th
4th vs. 5th with the higher seed getting Home Field advantage.
Round one is a best of 5 match-up.
Round two and the Finals are a best of 7 match-up.

In the first game today Dodgers’ Starter Junior Call-up Chris
England pitched a 7 inning complete game gem, striking out 8,
giving up only 2 hits and not allowing a Cardinal runner to reach
3rd base.
Offensively Ken Calway went 1 for 3 with the game winning RBI
in the 6th inning,
Ryan Crotin went 1 for 3 with the run scored. Jeff Tobin and
Ryan Balan had the other Dodgers’ hits, both singles.
