In Brantford, Dave Parsons drove in the winning run with a
sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to give the Red Sox a 9-8 win
over the Oshawa Dodgers. Brantford leads the series 2-0 and
travels to Oshawa on Monday for Game 4.
Scott Hughes had three singles, scored twice and drove in a run
and Eric Wolfe had two hits and scored a pair of runs, including
the game-winner in the eighth inning.
Brett Gibson (1-0) allowed three runs and five hits in 5 2/3 innings
for the win.
Ryan Balan belted out three hits, including a home run and Tony
Quick homered and drove in two runs for Oshawa.
Chris England (0-2) gave up eight runs and 11 hits in four innings
for Oshawa.
