Oshawa Dodgers 3, Brantford Red Sox 1

The Oshawa Dodgers staved off elimination tonight with a thrilling
3-1 victory.
Dodgers’ Starter Matt Tosoni (1-0) pitched 5 2/3 innings of great
ball, giving up 1 run on 8 hits and 3 K's while walking only 1.
Chad Stone (0-0) came on in relief in the 6th with a runner on 2nd
and 2 out. Stone enticed the Brantford batter to ground out to end
the inning.
Jamaal Joseph (0-0-1) came in to start the 7th inning and pitched 3
scoreless inning of relief, striking out 3 and walking only 1.

Coach Gary Minacs said "This was the best defensive game we
played all year.  The boys made 5 OUTSTANDING defensive plays
in the Victory."
Manager Troy May had this to say, " The crowd (1021 strong) were
our extra player. The team got so pumped when Scott Dargie
(Durham Police Officer) sang the National Anthem and then the
crowd let out a huge cheer. The fans pumped the players up all
game long"

Marc Bestemen had a clutch 2 out double in the 5th that led to
