WOW we did it again.
We fell behind 5-0 after 3 1/2 innings.
Dodgers’ starter Adam Clarke (1-0) pitched a great game going 6
solid innings, giving up 6 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits while striking
out 3.
Our defence let us down early but as we always say "no lead is
safe." Over the next 3 1/2 innings the Dodgers scored 12 runs to
take a 12-6 lead but as we say "no lead is safe".
Reliever Chris England came in and pitched 1+ innings and Chad
Stone came in the 8th and got 3 outs with 2 runners on base.
Jamaal Joseph (0-0-2) pitched the 9th and stuck out the side for
his second save of the series, final score 12-9.
The series is now tied at 2 games each and the 5th and deciding
game goes tomorrow (Wednesday August 6) in Brantford at 8:00
PM.
