In Toronto, Danny Gibbons had five hits and drove in two runs to
help the Toronto Maple Leafs cruise to a 16-1 win over the Oshawa
Dodgers.
Damon Topolie and Mike Grieve each had three hits and drove in
three runs and Carl Embro added three hits, including a double, and
an RBI in the win.
Paul Spoljaric (5-0) allowed one run and five hits and struck out
seven batters in six innings.
Tim Smith had a pair of hits for Oshawa, including a solo homer in
the second inning and starting pitcher Travis Gilligan (2-2) gave up
six runs in five innings.
