Brantford Red Sox 7, Oshawa Dodgers 2 (11 innings)
In Oshawa, Eric Wolfe clubbed a two-run homer in the 11th inning to
help the Brantford Red Sox to a 7-2 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in
the first complete game of their playoff series.
Tyler Burnell had three hits and scored the winning run on an infield
error in the 11th inning and Wayne Forman added a pair of singles in
the win.
Tony Bacci (1-0) allowed two runs - one earned - and five hits in 10
innings. He struck out eight batters and walked five in the win.
Adam Clarke (0-1) allowed five unearned runs in three innings of
relief after starter Travis Gilligan allowed two unearned runs on
eight hits in eight innings.
Pat Tobin was two-for-five with an RBI and Tim Smith singled and
drove in a run for Oshawa.
Game 1 of the series that was suspended with the score tied at six in
the 10th inning will be completed before Game 3 on Sunday in
Brantford.
