In Hamilton, Justin Wendt belted a two-run home run in the
seventh inning to lift the Thunderbirds to a 5-3 win over the
Oshawa Dodgers.
Tom Robertson and Andy Steeds had two hits each and Joe
Winkelsas (1-0) picked up the win with three innings of scoreless
relief.
Brian Sewell (0-1) allowed five runs and 10 hits in seven innings.
Tom Colbary had a pair of hits for the Dodgers.
