In Toronto, Carl Embro hit a two run homer in the eighth inning
that helped the Maple Leafs to a 9-4 win over the Oshawa
Dodgers.
Embro also hit a run-scoring single in the sixth inning and Joe
Colameco added a two-run double in the eighth.
Dave Steffler (2-0) allowed two runs on nine hits in six innings for
the win.
Alex Baboulas (0-1) gave up five runs on three hits in seven
innings for Barrie. Morris Watson hit a solo homer for the
Dodgers in the ninth inning.
