Barrie Baycats 10, Oshawa Dodgers 2
In Barrie, Ryan Spataro tripled and scored three runs to help the
Barrie Baycats to a 10-2 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in one of
three games in the Intercounty Baseball League on Thursday.
Spataro also stole three bases while Jonathan Baksh tripled and
drove in two runs and Jordan Lundberg added a pair of hits and
scored twice for Barrie.
Brad Bissell (1-0) allowed two runs - one earned - and five hits
while striking out 11 batters in seven innings. Matt Tjart and
Brad Grieveson each threw a scoreless inning of relief in the win.
Mat Wilson (0-2) gave up six runs in six innings and Kevin Brown
doubled in the loss for Oshawa.
