The Dodgers earned a split in the doubleheader behind the
five-hit pitching of Mat Wilson (2-2) in the second game. Wilson
allowed only one run on five hits while striking out seven and
walking only one in six innings. Jason Gordon picked up the save
by pitching the seventh with one strikeout. Tom VanKasteren
(1-2) took the loss, allowing three runs, all unearned, on three
hits, two walks and three strikeouts in 4.2 innings.
Sean Cunningham's two-run single in the fifth gave Oshawa the
lead. Chris Sereda drove in the final run on a sacrifice fly in the
sixth. Alex Blackburn's RBI single in the sixth was all the scoring
the Majors could muster.
