In Oshawa, Brian Carter stroked a two-run single in the eighth
inning that lifted the Kitchener Panthers to a 5-4 win over the
Oshawa Dodgers.
Andy Pietraszko had three hits and Mark Schmidt and Ryan
Roeder drove in runs in the win.
Brad Hay (2-1) was the winner after keeping Oshawa to four runs
and 10 hits in 8 1/3 innings and Wes Koch recorded the final out
for his first save.
Ben Chisholm (0-1) allowed three runs - one earned - and nine
hits in six innings. Ken Calway hit a pair of doubles and drove in
