Guelph Royals 12, Oshawa Dodgers 5
In Oshawa, Sean Reilly belted three home runs, including a grand
slam in the third inning to power the Guelph Royals to a 12-5 win
over the Oshawa Dodgers.
Reilly finished with six RBI while Frankie Hare homered and
drove in two runs and Ted Drew Smith added three hits, including
a triple and drove in two runs for Guelph.
Matt Lareau (1-0) allowed five runs and five hits in six innings for
the win and Dwayne Fagel earned his first save after finishing the
game with three scoreless innings of relief.
Ben Chisholm (0-2) gave up eight runs - seven earned - on 10 hits
in five innings.
Greg Speed hit a two run single and Morris Watson had two hits,
including a triple and stole two bases for Oshawa.
