Oshawa Dodgers 12, Stratford Storm 7
In Stratford, John Hanko belted a two run home run and added a
run-scoring single to help the Oshawa Dodgers to a 12-7 win over
the Stratford Storm.
Greg Speed added three hits, including a double, and drove in two
runs and Dane Wolfe doubled and drove in two runs, including the
game-winner in the sixth inning.
Brian Sewell (4-6) allowed seven runs and six hits in seven
innings for the win and Steve Reiss struck out four batters in the
final two innings for his first save.
Brendan Lapointe (0-3) gave up nine runs - eight earned - and 10
hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Alex Arango hit a two-run homer and Matt Moir had three hits,
including a double and drove in two runs for Stratford.
