Toronto Maple Leafs 12, Oshawa Dodgers 5
In Toronto, Joe Colameco hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the
seventh inning that gave the Toronto Maple Leafs a 12-5 win over
the Oshawa Dodgers. Toronto leads the series 3-0 with Game 4
scheduled for Tuesday in Oshawa.
Carl Embro tied the game with a single in the seventh inning and
hit a two-run homer in the eighth. Matt Logan added a solo
homer for the Maple Leafs.
Yoel Reina (1-0) earned the win with a pair of unearned runs and
three hits in three innings after starter Mike Phinney gave up
three runs on seven hits in four innings.
Aaron Gordon (0-1) surrendered nine runs - seven earned - and
11 hits in seven innings.
Ken Calway had three hits and drove in three runs for Oshawa.
