Dodgers Come Back from 9-3 Deficit to Down
London 10-9 in 12 Innings

In what was the longest game in the History of the Oshawa Dodgers, 12
Innings, 4 hours and 16 minutes, the Oshawa Dodgers came back from
a 9-3 deficit to win in 12 innings 10-9.
Dodgers starting Pitcher Pat Smith went 4 innings giving up 6 runs (5
earned) on 6 hits while walking 2 London batters. Ben Chisholm pitched
the next 3 innings and gave the Dodgers a chance to come back. Then
the one and only Mr. Everything Ryan Balan came out of Centerfield to
pitch the last 5 innings giving 0 runs on 2 hits while striking out 8 London
batters.
The big hits for Oshawa were a Mick Kurhan 3 run triple in the 6th inning
and Ryan Crotin's 2 run double in the 8th inning to tie the score at 9-9.
Dodgers Manager Mike Prosper had this to say: "A game like this can
change a season around.  We need to build off this. They were 5-0 in
first place and we gave then their first lose of the season."
