Barrie 7 Oshawa 0 in Intercounty Matinee
In Barrie, Jordan Lundberg homered and drove in five runs to help the
Baycats to a 7-0 win over the Oshawa Dodgers in an Intercounty
Baseball League matinee on Thursday.
Angus Roy (3-1) allowed just five hits while walking three batters and
striking out three in eight shutout innings. Derek McDaid finished the
game with a scoreless inning of relief.
Ryan Spataro had three hits, including a double to lead off the game,
and scored the opening run in the first inning.
Adam Garner (1-4) allowed seven runs - six earned - and 11 hits while
striking out seven batters in seven innings.
Ken Calway was two-for-four with a double and Ryan Crotin also
chipped in with a pair of hits.
