Sloppy Defense Leads to Dodgers First Loss of Season

The Stratford Nationals picked up their first win of the season,
downing the Oshawa Dodgers 7-5.
Winning pitcher Mike Delonge (1-0) went seven innings, allowing
only one earned run on six hits and four walks while striking out
seven.
George Agey Pong-Mensa had two hits for Stratford including a solo
home run in the second inning.
Oshawa starter Brandon Agnew (0-1) took the loss, going 6 2/3
innings and giving up seven hits while striking out three. The
Nationals only scored two earned runs as the Dodgers committed
five errors in addition to runs scoring on a passed ball and a hit
batter.
Marcus Knecht had two hits and an RBI for Oshawa.
