Stefan Strecker pitched five innings for the win in the opener, allowing four runs on eight hits with three strikeouts and a walk. Jon Ogiltree pitched two innings for the save, while Jason Gotwalt had four hits and three RBI and Josh McCurdy added three hits and three RBI. Brandon Agnew was the loser for Oshawa, going three innings and allowing five runs – three earned – on six hits. Steve Lewis had two hits and two RBI for Oshawa.
In the second game, Adam Garner got the win with a complete game five-hiter, striking out three and walking two. Former Oshawa Dodger Scott Robinson was the starter for Brantford. Corey Pappel came on in relief for the loss. Stevie Lewis was two for two with the game winning RBI on a bases loaded walk.
