Dodgers Improve to 3-1 With Win Over Thunderbirds
In Oshawa, the Dodgers handed the winless Hamilton Thunderbirds their sixth
consecutive loss, downing Hamilton 7-2.
Brandyn Agnew pitched eight strong innings for the win for the Dodgers,
scattering 10 hits and giving up two unearned runs. He struck out seven and
didn’t walk a batter as the Dodgers finally got their home opener in after three
failed attempts.
Peter Bako had two hits, including a solo homer, and James Kottaras had
three hits and drove in a run for Oshawa, now 3-1 on the season. Tyler
Patzalek also had two hits and drove in a pair of runs for Oshawa.
Ryan Noak was the loser for Hamilton, allowing six runs – four earned – on 10
hits with three strikeouts and three walks. Tim Hebner, Mitch Peragine and
Devin Coburn all had two hits for the Thunderbirds.
