Dodgers Top Twins in First Visit to Mississauga
In Mississauga, the Oshawa Dodgers doubled up the Twins 6-3.
Greg Byron (1-1) pitched the complete game, scattering seven hits
while giving up only two earned runs, striking out two and walking
none.
Jordan Castaldo had two RBI’s for Oshawa on a ninth inning double
while Sean Travers had a run scoring single and Cam Robulack had
a sacrifice fly to drive in the other Oshawa run.
Mississauga starter Matt Martinow (0-2) last only 3 1/3 innings
before being relieved by Shane Cole. Martinow gave up four runs,
all earned, on eight hits and two walks with two strikeouts. Cole went
the remaining 5 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on three hits and two
walks with five strikeouts.
For the Twins, Branson Joseph had three hits and Brendan Emmett
had two and a sacrifice fly.
